“Iceland, the unbelievably beautiful land of fire & ice – is also the land of the alluring aurora borealis. We have been around the world, literally and Iceland is the cherry on top. Full of glaciers, volcanoes, hot springs and geysers. It is very clean and has many natural resources. Although it has a small population, everyone is very friendly. We loved the man-made ice cave, the volcanoes and the lava stone. We enjoyed the most at Blue Lagoon – from cold biting wind and rain, straight into the hot natural sulphur lagoon. It was a super-duper holiday, meticulously planned. The Rotary Group was very cooperative, disciplined, hilarious, helpful and supportive of each other.
